Use SANS to Block Unwanted News
Since we’re not a news service or a media outlet, and we’re not affiliated with Google or Microsoft, we don’t provide commentary. However, we do have the ability to remove unwanted news and stories from your newsfeeds and topics you don’t wish to see.
Some of you may want to try out SANS. We allow you to block news from certain sources, and certain keywords. These blocks last for just a few days (or hours in the case of keywords) and are easy to use and remove.
A quick guide to using SANS is:
- Download SANS.
- Scan for all domains.
- Use the “Block” command to block a particular domain or topic.
- Scan for a keyword or keyword phrase.
- You will now be able to find the keyword or domain you are looking for if it’s not already listed.
- You will now be able to remove topics you no longer want to see.
- You will no longer be able to find the keyword or domain you are looking for if it’s not already listed.
